Pony boots by HORSEKING Pony boots by HORSEKING
Finally I got them today and I plan to change them now into "real" looking hoof boots.

But the wodden sole needs an adjustment of the angle before. I have no idea how somebody can walk or stand in this boots more than 10 minutes. Ouch!

"Italian designer, 240,00 € / 340,00 $ a pair "
These aren't 'Punitive Shoes' are they? I thought they would look .... Less "downward toe curve"
And more "Ballet down" It's hard to explain ^^;

Walking in these boots... for me almost impossible for more than 5 minutes due lack of practice. But Iīm going to change them into more realistic looking hoof boots with a more shallow angle, which will be much more comfortable to walk. I will post a pic as soon I have finished one boot.

My hubby also has the problem of walking in ponyboots at this angle. If you do redesign these, and are willing to sell some, we would be very interested in getting a pair from you. He has these hoof-gloves already, and would love to have a matching pair of latex hooves for his feet: [link] (seeing as how you're making flat-footed, cloven hoof-boots). :)

Hey there

Thatīs funny! I want to use exactly these latex hoofs as a template for the redesign of the hoof boot! I have them lie around, too! Maybe I increase the size a little bit for a larger seating. I plan to cast them in resin, a very hard kind of plastic.

But first I want to focus on the front hoof I have designed. This weekend I will start to make the first part of the mold. Damn, thatīs more difficult then I have expected… trial and error. Now itīs the second time I try it. The first mold was damaged by removing the clay model. And the casting slip needs almost 2 weeks to drying through.

Regarding your questions:
The pony boots are bloody expensive! They are ordered from an Italian designer, 240,00 € / 340,00 $ a pair incl. shipping. Not included my expenditures… and we should wait until we see how they come out before I decide to sell them, too.

About the anthro front hoof in latex: yes, I will sell a few of them. No idea about the price till now, depends on the quality I can achieve, of course. Please submit your email address, so I can send you an .pdf document with my hand size. Only one size is currently available… mine. So we know exactly if it would fit on your hands, too.

But please consider that all this work is just my hobby. Iīm an engineer and running a serious business as CEO, so my time to work on private projects is very limited. ( Only the evenings during the short weekends are left, sigh. )

Please be patient with me, I expect the first positive results of the latex front hoof end of February. About the pony boots… maybe in May, for sure not before.

Best regards
Eric
